Rebar Steel Worker

We are looking for rebar steel workers for companies in the Netherlands specializing in high-quality steel structures and infrastructure projects.

Position Overview:
As a rebar steel worker, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by shaping,
assembling, and installing rebar steel components to reinforce concrete structures.

Responsibilities:
– Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine rebar layout and dimensions.
– Cut, bend, and shape rebar steel using manual and automated tools.
– Assemble and secure rebar steel using tying wire or welding techniques.
– Install rebar steel in accordance with project plans, ensuring proper positioning and alignment.
– Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, promoting a safe working environment.
– Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a rebar steel worker in the construction industry is preferred.
– Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and rebar layout is preferred
– Proficient in using rebar cutting, bending, and shaping tools.
– Familiarity with tying wire and welding techniques for rebar steel installation.
– Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
– Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
– Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging weather conditions.
– High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Certification requirements:
– VCA basics or VCA-VOL are a minimum requirement, but can be obtained with the company.
– GPI is a minimum requirement, but can be obtained with the company.
